I am in love.
I love the Spring/Summer Issue of Vouge Knitting! I probably would like to make 40% of the patterns. That's a way lot for me. Usually I find only one or two in each magazine I buy. Now I have to go the yarn store. Good thing is that I won't have to worry about cash. My car finally came back from the production company and I could use that money to pay off my taxes owing -or- finance a sweet trip to all the good yarn shops.
What to do-what to do...hm.

I am working on a couple of projects.
This is a lovely yarn I received as a gift from super Terri! It's a 100% cotton with a slub that feels like it's going to wash up soft as buttah. It's going to be a tank from last summers Vouge Knitting. I had the back about 2/3 finished but realized it was looking a little large. Never measure on yourself when you're wearing a sweatshirt. It doesn't quite work. So I ripped it out and started again. Ripping back is so therapeutic! And a pisser!
Next.
Yes, it's the leftover Lion Suede making a comeback! I'm crocheting with it and it works much better on a hook than a needle. This is a make it up as I go along poncho. Come hell or high water I'm going to have a freaking poncho this summer!
weird dog thing. Today I was messing around with the girls after I brushed their teeth. I was calling Sarah a monkey and making monkey noises and moving around like a chimp. I think she has a hate on for chimps! It sounded like she was going to kill me by the growling and barking she was doing! Also jumping up with intent to knock me over and rip my monkey loving throat out! Sheesh, I guess no monkey stuffies for her...it was weird.
I can read Sarah's thoughts from here:
"Mommy! Stop being stupid! Mommy? mommy?Aaaaaah...It's George Bush!!!! I must save the world! Get the monkey-man!! GGGrrrrrrr!!"
