Hello? Heeelllloooo? Anybody there?
I know I have been away a long time but we're back on track!
So let's start things off with some FO's!
Jean Genie Skirt. My favourite skirt so far! And thrifty! Made from a pair of jeans given to me that were too short.
Another Clapotis! In yummy Noro Silk Garden Sock yarn! Everytime I've worn it I've gotten a compliment on it! Wow! I see more of these in my future!
Okay, technically not an FO but still freaking awesome! A new couch!!!!!! And ottoman with storage! You can tell I love it because I moved into the one side there. So wonderful! It's going to take a couple years to pay off but worth every cent!
More gory knit and sew details in the photo album!
I found your blog quite by accident one day whilst looking for a free pattern for a squash skirt (i.e a skirt you would use to play squash in - the game where you run round like a crazy person after a little black ball (do you even play that in America?)). Anyway, I found a picture of a skirt you'd made - I think it had pictures on it that you'd likened to "squash" the vegetable and have been following your FO's since. I love your style and the fabrics you choose! Anyway - I've missed your updates (maybe married life is too busy?) so am glad to see you back. Congrat's on getting married by the way, and keep posting, you're inspiration for me...

That couch is exactly what I need! I think I could get hubby, Bill and Linda on it with no problems.

How many skeins of yarn did the Clapotis use? I've still never made one, but it seems like a good use for Noro sock yarn. I love the colours in yours. Noro does have fab colours, doesn't it?
Denim skirts are just the best. My fave skirts have always been denim. Sadly, the last favourite one shrank two sizes hanging in the closet. It could not possibly have been anything I ate.

I can't wait to see the "flop"! I'll video it for You Tube!

OMFG! I axed Bill about the couch "how did it look, was it FABULOUS" etc. and he said (and I quote) "uh, yeah, it looked okay".
It's FABULOUS - I love it. Bonus points for storage ottoman. Next time I'm there I'm going to take a running leap and flop on the L part.
The Clap is gorgeous. I can see yet another in my future with some of my Noro sock yarn or silk garden lite. And the skirt - very cute!!
