Dear Readers,
I need your opinion. I got some new glasses for a smokin' deal but can't quite decide if I like them enough. I wear a heavy prescription (thanks Dad!) so that's why my face looks like it indents wildly at my temples! That's not bugging me as it would happen in any glasses I would get. I don't wear glasses out of the house. I just don't know...
What do you think?
Let me know!
There's also been a little knitting! I have two FO's! I know one it going to the frog pond or a rastafarian and the other works..sort of...
Flounce!
Yep it's a smidge large! Hee hee!
Then there was a Bounce!
Still a bit big. I used a James C. Brett Marble Chunky in 100% acrylic and the yarn was too soft. It has really nice drape but I think this pattern needs something with a little more structure. Super cute and worth a 3rd try!
I wear a -6.25 so I know about the indentation thing. I have to agree with Terri that I think they're just a little big for you. Cute still! But too big.

I like the glasses. I am thinking the only reason they look too wide is because of the heavy Rx, as you said. Otherwise cute! Sorry the hat is too big!

D'oh, so the acrylic rules out the nuclear felting otption. Huh, gather it with elastic thread? Give it to a big haired friend?
Your glasses are cute, you look like you're about to go out shooting, but I think Terri's right, they're a little wide. I don't think the girls will care though, has Monk been giving you crap about 'em? ;)

I just made the Fathead Beret and it turned out huge, too! I just gave it to Goodwill, I was so bummed.

as I posted on your FB, I think the frames are just too wide for your face. That could account for why they keep slipping down your nose. They're cute, just too big.
The flounce/bounce is cute, but alas also too big. The yarn I used for mine was that Fleece Artist Scotian Silk and it feels firmer than the Marble Chunky. What else do you have in your stash that might work?
