The Reluctant Muse.
She wasn't 'Fast & Easy' but I took her to a party and she did loosen up after a few drinks.
Cute, non?
Can I tell you again how hard it it to take a picture of yourself? I ended up cutting off my feet and you can't see the cute, strappy, gold heels I got to wear with this! It is such a comfortable dress! I can see myself making another couple of these. I threw the directions away and ended up hand finishing the casings for the neck tie and the hem. The way the directions were written to finish the casings on the machine were silly and would have ended up with a messy finish. 15 minutes of hand sewing solved all that.
The recap. Butterick B1577. Started March 23rd, 2008. Fabric was actually bought as with the purpose of becoming an East Indian suit but I decided it should be a dress. I believe the fabric is 100% polyester. After trials and tribulations it was finished March 29th, 2008. I am very happy with the outcome!
VERY pretty girl and sexy too, lol. i DIG this dress :D

LOVE that dress! Your hair looks awesome too! You could also wear the dress with black leggings and a black tee-shirt if you didn't want it to be a "party dress" that day.

RAWRRR! You sexy b!tch! That turned out so gorgeous and I love the little wrap that goes with. I'll have to imagine the strappy gold heels but I say it's a winner!

You look *hot*! It is a great dress and I am probably heading out to get the pattern asap. That fabric is gorgeous and perfect for the dress. Great save.

*whistles*
That is a great dress! I have a pattern written down for a shirt that I saw online that I really want to make but I'm totally intimidated by patterns... which is silly because I used to make patchwork tops and sell them.
